Kirsten is our lead veterinary nurse, overseeing all of the veterinary technicians/assistants, pharmacy staff, and kennel staff. She has been part of the Wyomissing Animal Hospital team since 2020. Kirsten started her career in Allentown, PA where she gained years of experience in general practice, emergency medicine, and exotic medicine. She has been helping to advocate for pets and their families since 2008.
Kirsten has obtained multiple degrees; a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2008, an associate’s degree in veterinary nursing from Northampton Community College, and a master’s degree in business administration from Cedar Crest College. She obtained her Veterinary technician license in 2010. Kirsten’s areas of interest are client education, pain management, surgery, and anesthesia. She also strives to pass her knowledge onto her fellow team members and continue her education in veterinary nursing.
Kirsten spends her free time outside gardening, on nature walks, and spending time with family and friends. She has 4 dogs- an American Bulldog mix, a miniature Dachshund, an American Eskimo, and a Golden Retriever.
